Mr. Paul Tillotson - 432nd Signal Battalion  (Received 6/7/2007)

The widow of Mr. Tillotson is seeking information on her husband's service in the CBI.



Mr. Elmer "Al" Earl Doage - Unit unknown  (Received 6/9/2007)

The daughter of Mr. Doage is seeking information about her father during WWII. She thinks he was a gunner on a B-24s & fuel transport planes (C-109s ?) and she thinks he was stationed at Brookley Field, Alabama before arriving in the CBI.



Mr. Vito LaRosa - 326th Service Sq / 301st Service Gp  (Received 6/9/2007)

The son of Mr. LaRosa is seeking information on his father's service.  He mentioned many times flying "Over the Hump".  Other than his discharge papers he doesn't have much info.



Mr. Roy H. Long - 23d Signal BN, Co. A  (Received 6/29/2007)

The daughter of Mr. Long is seeking information on her father's service.  Mr. Long was from Clinton, Mo.



Mr. Benjamin Joseph Shackelford - 236th Engineer Combat BN  (Received 7/14/2007)

The nephew of Mr. Shacekford is seeking information on his uncle's service.  Mr. Shackelford was KIA in Burma on 6 July 1944.  The family was told at the time he was killed in a bombing, but is listed as MIA.



Lt. Elvira "Batty" Battista  (Received 7/23/2007)

The niece of Lt. Battista is seeking anyone who knew her aunt.  Lt. Battista served in the CBI 1943-45 in 181st General, 27th Field Hospital, 112th Station Hospital, 263d General Hosptial, 94th and 95th Hospitals, 21st Field Hospital.  She spent time in Karachi, New Delhi, Ledo, Pao Shan and Kunming.



LeRoy Watson - C-46 Flight Engineer  (Received 8/22/2007)

The son of LeRoy Watson is looking for information on his father. Mr. Watson was a C-46 flight engineer who flew the Hump and was awarded a DFC and Air Medal. He continued with the USAF after WWII and flew C-124, C-135, and C-141 transports.



Francis J. Moran - 758th Railway Shop Battalion ('43-'45)  (Received 11/1/2007)

The daughter of Francis J. Moran is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Moran. He was from Brooklyn, NY.



Warren G. Wilson - 96th Signal Bn., Company B  (Received 11/26/2007)

The son of Warren G. Wilson is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Wilson. He was in Burma with the 96th Signal Bn., Company B. He believes his father served beside Merrill’s Marauders along the Ledo Rd. His mother tells him that he and a few other men volunteered to run wire ahead of the troops in the jungle.



Matthew McFatridge - 1328th AAFBU (ICD-ATC)  (Received 12/18/2007)

The nephews of Matthew McFatridge are seeking veterans who served with Mr. McFatridge. He was killed in an accident below Mt Tali, China, 2 Dec 1944 (C-46, s/n 42-107387).



Arlie Verdell Collins - 95th Station Hospital  (Received 1/3/2008)

The daughter of Arlie Verdell Collins is seeking veterans who served with Mrs. Collins. She was a nurse with the 95th Station Hospital in Kunming.



LeRoy B. Fahey (aka "Roy" or "Red") - (unit unknown)  (Received 3/15/2008)

The son of LeRoy B. Fahey is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Fahey, originally from Minnesota. Mr. Fahey was a fighter pilot (P-40s). His grandmother showed him a telegram saying LeRoy was shot down over China and was missing in action. Later, she received another telegram indicating he was presumed killed in action. This was in error, however, as he was brought out to safety.



Herbert (Herb) P. Snyder - (unit unknown)  (Received 3/18/2008)

The son of Herbert (Herb) P. Snyder is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Snyder, originally from Kansas. He was a telephone lineman (MOS 238 - Lineman Telephone and Telegraph). Before shipping overseas he attended the Signal Maintenance School Claiborne, La.



William Leo Wilcox - 90th Fighter Squadron  (Received 3/18/2008)

The grandson of William Leo Wilcox is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Wilcox. He flew P-47's & P-40's in the CBI Theater between 1943-1945. He was in the 90th Fighter Sq / 80th Fighter Group.



James (Jim) W. Reeves - 1st Combat Cargo Group  (Received 7/9/2008)

The son of Jim Reeves is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Reeves. He was a radio operator on C-47s. He was originally from Tennessee but settled in Michigan after the war.



Carleton C. Dutton - 69th Composite Wing  (Received 7/9/2008)

The grandson of Carleton Dutton is seeking veterans who served with Mr. Dutton or are familiar with the circumstances of his death. He was in the Signal Corps and died on 24 Mar 1945 while on a C-47 flight from Posch to Kunming. Mr. Dutton parachuted from the aircraft but did not survive the jump.
